KIASH

AI-supported anomaly detection for smart homes

Due to the progressive digitalisation and networking of originally analogue measurement and control components in smart homes, targeted manipulation attempts, and malfunctions are increasing. In addition to network storage devices, smart household appliances also represent significant vulnerabilities. The access and encryption of sensitive files by ransomware can cause financial as well as personal damage. KIASH enables integrators, installers, electrical engineers and handicraft businesses to offer their customers security monitoring for smart homes and thus to establish new value-added processes, without having to have competence in the AI or security area themselves. Security and safety are essential factors in the smart home: not only in the detection of (virtual) intrusions, but also in protecting privacy and maintaining the functionality of devices. However, conventional solutions on the market only guarantee protection superficially through simple heuristics and do not offer any economic advantages to the trades, which KIASH will change.
